Abstract
It is the story that an old man tells his two grandchildren; in which he tells them that six decades ago he met perhaps the most important revolutionary military in the southern and central region of the state of Tamaulipas and north of San Luis Potosí. Character that had a decisive influence on the actions that would be taken during that period in the region and that, due to the circumstances, it would be their turn to meet at the last moment of his life; General Alberto Carrera Torres. Character that would transcendentally disrupt the life and thought of the old man and that somehow in this narrative tries to instill in his grandchildren what he considers the most important legacy of that crucial moment.
