Abstract

At the time of the counterculture in the city of Nogales, Sonora a sculptor artist, Alfredo Just Gimeno exiled from the Civil War, decides to pay tribute to the city through statues which were part of a project to re-modernize the city, creating a "new American philosophy of liberation" leaving aside traditionalist thought and obedience of conservative social canons.
