Abstract
What is presented below is a modest analysis -in the form of a review- of a film whose viewing, I consider, could be of great benefit and interest to anyone, especially given the times. "Modern Times" is, in my opinion, one of Chaplin's most emblematic and interesting works, since it even earned him - to a certain degree - the accusation of being a communist by the US government. In this text, the work in question will be broken down, while the situations raised in the footage will be compared with the reality of the Western world at that historical moment, to finally understand what are the implications and the criticism that Chaplin proposed to make about the modern world.
