Abstract
In the following work we will analyze the impact of Latin American feminist art throughout history, as well as the work that artists have done, who have struggled to create new methodological bases that allow women to be given a dignified position, in exchange for the prejudices that have harmed the theoretical and practical vision of art and women. Then, the work of Mónica Mayer, ''the clothesline'', is presented, where it allows us to understand her speech, the analysis, the background, the purpose of the work and the political importance of the ideas of the feminist movement in the artist. Finally, we will reflect on the importance of this type of work as a form of resistance for creative women within art, managing to communicate the other visions of women.
