Abstract
It is a brief narrative that focuses on exploring two antagonistic characters of National History, Porfirio Díaz and Maximilian of Habsburg, who coexisted at a certain time, but on different sides, despite this, they pursued an end: to make Mexico a prosperous country. Appealing to imaginary scenarios, the story aims to give an overview that the events of history are not isolated from each other and that we know as the "bad guys" in history, they really are not that bad.
