Abstract

The objective of this review is to make known a film with a historical theme, which could be useful for all those people who are interested in: the theme of the Second World War seen from the cinema, in knowing the biography of certain characters, in power - through cinematography - to have an approach with the way in which the History of this period is told, in how this subject is treated in Germany itself and by German directors, in the importance of costumes and photography to involve us in the journey of the last days of the war. For the analysis, in addition to the film itself, a documentary about "The Executioner of Emsland" on the same subject was used.
